Welcome to the St David’s High Kirk Dundee website. We hope you will find it interesting and easy
St David’s High Kirk Dundee is a union of the former St David’s
North Parish Church and The High Kirk Dundee.
There is a single service on a Sunday morning at 11.00am in our St
David’s High Kirk Dundee church in Kinghorne Road. The
service is followed by tea/coffee in the church hall to which all are
encouraged to go along to for a further time of fellowship. We also have a short Midweek service in the
hall at the High Kirk on alternate Wednesdays at 1.45pm. This is shared with Coldside Parish Church and
is followed by tea/coffee and a time of fellowship. There is also help with transport for these
services if anyone needs it. The Sunday School and Youth
Group meet on a Sunday morning at 11.00am and there are crèche facilities
for our very young people. We have recently started a "Prayer Group" who meet usually on the first Sunday morning of each month in the Vestry just prior to the Morning Service. Please do
come and join us for any of these services. You can be sure of a warm welcome.
During the week our church buildings are very busy with all sorts
of activities. In the evening, ourCraft Clubmeet on
alternate Mondays, Guides, Rainbows and Brownies meet on a
Wednesday. The Guildmeets on a
Tuesday and the Church Choir meets for
rehearsal on a Thursday. The Friendship Club for elderly
people meets in the hall on a Friday afternoon. For the more “athletic” there is a church
walking group which enjoys interesting walks, along with good coffee and chat
once a month. Please check out the other
things that go on by looking at our Organisations page and our Calendar page.
In addition to all of this we as a congregation support the Dundee Food Bank and Christian Aid and several
other charities from time to time. If
you think you could help or would simply like to be part of our fellowship,
please do come and join us. We would
love to see you.
